Historic, affluent, and cultured, Zurich is both Switzerland’s largest city and one of its prime travel destinations. Whether you go for sightseeing or high-quality museums, the city has all the ingredients for a sophisticated travel experience. And if you’re looking for something a bit more active, the snow-capped Swiss mountains are never too far away. These are three of the most interesting attractions in and around Zurich:Kunsthaus Zürich. Open since 1910, but always developing and having undergone a large extension in 2020, the Kunsthaus is one of Switzerland’s most notable cultural institutions, and a visit to it would be a dream come true for any art lover. The museum’s impressive collection includes works by renowned masters such as Munch, van Gogh, Magritte, and Rousseau. Visit the museum’s website to learn more about admission hours and buying tickets in advance.
